So I am WAY behind on this blog. I have to update all of Summer. I recently started going to school to become an EMT and life has been good but a little crazy! This cute boy lost his first tooth at the beginning of Summer. He woke up in the morning and said his stomach hurt. He was as white as a sheet. He said, "I wiggled my tooth and it made me not feel good." I thought he was getting a stomach bug and because he wiggled his tooth he associated it with that. Well, after about an hour he seemed to be better. I asked if I could try and pull his tooth out because it was hanging by a thread. I reached in and pulled it out and instantly he went white. Poor guy. He ran in the bathroom saying he was going to throw up. Hopefully this doesn't happen with every tooth. He already had a tooth grown in behind it so you can't really tell in these pictures. Cute boy!!!!

Preschool graduation
Colby and Carter graduated from preschool. They were so cute. They have learned so much and are ready for the next chapter, Kindergarten! My babies are growing up! Each kid was in charge of a nursery rhyme they had to recite. Mrs. Woodfield asked if we could dress them in their character. Colby had Humpty Dumpty and Carter was a butcher.
Before it started Brayden just had to sit on the stage with them. :)
Cute little butcher.
Not the best picture but it was the only one I got of the whole group.

Cousin time
All the "big" cousins on the Stokes side of the family love my little Brayden buggy. The first thing they do when they see him is grab him and start playing. This picture just sums it up. Carson and Brayden swinging. Hayden is on the other side of the swing making Brayden laugh hysterically. So sweet. We love our cousins.
Easter
We went to the Logan Zoo clear back and June. Aaron and Keri met us there along with their kids and my parents as well. Days like this are the best. The only thing to make it better would be if our Daddy wasn't working and if Mandy and her family could have come!

Love my kids!
I have soooo much catching up to do! I will get caught up soon! I just had to quickly write down something Carter just said. I lost my wedding ring about 2 months ago and it still is missing. It is making me crazy! I want my ring back. Andy also lost his wallet about a week ago. He got up in the middle of the night last night and it was driving him nuts that he still couldn't find it. He said a prayer and immediately knew where to go to find it. Andy told the kids he prayed and Heavenly Father helped him find it. So just now Carter came strolling in my room. He said, "Mom, maybe if you pray like Daddy did then your ring would show up." Sometimes I think my kids teach me more than I teach them. If only I could have the faith they have. I am one lucky Mama to have such good kids. I hope they stay that way. I know it was something simple he said today, but it really opened my eyes. Love my kids!!!!

Goodbye Grandma
My dear sweet Grandma passed away at 1:30 in the morning on March 9. Wow! Can't believe she is actually gone. She was thee most amazing woman. What a legacy she has left behind. She had a 5 bypass open heart surgery. She had many complications. They took her back for surgery 2 other times after that. She finally started to come out of it and her cute personality was starting to come back. She suddenly quite breathing for what they think could have been 10 minutes or maybe a little more. She had severe brain damage after that. She has always been so healthy. She was 83 but you would think she was 63. I have always known this day would eventually come but man has it been rough. My poor little Grandpa breaks my heart. The doctor came in and said he advises we take her off life support. We had already come to that conclusion so it was no shock. After he talked to the family for a while he asked us if we had any questions. My cute Grandpa asked him if he knows anything about cloning. ha ha Even in a sad situation he can get everyone laughing. After taking her off life support she lived for another 14 hours. My Grandpa kept saying, "She is dying just like she lived." That is so true about that lady. She was always so positive in every situation. She was more like a friend to me. Calling her house meant I would be on the phone with her for at least an hour. I am going to miss to visits to her house. The holidays are never going to be the same without her. Thanksgiving she had at least 10 pies made. Her sloppy joes and her mashed potatoes were the best. I am so thankful for all the memories we have made with her. The many vacations and the many times we got together just because. She was so family oriented. Most of all I am going to miss her great big hugs. There is just nothing better. As my Grandma would say, "I love you, big time!" Until we meet again Grandma. Thanks for raising such a good family. Thanks for always being there for me. Thanks for always talking with me. Thanks for the wonderful legacy you have left behind. I can see your face now when thinking about the reunion you are having. I know you are holding baby Tommy in your arms. I know you are with your parents and Aunt Edie. And I know you are with our Savior. Love you Grandma. I miss you already. This life will never be the same without you. Watch over us always.
No good, very bad day!
Last Monday I had the worst day I had ever had in all my life. I was down visiting my Grandma in the hospital and seeing Andy off. He had to leave for two weeks to a training in South Carolina. I was already very upset about him leaving I was also having a very hard time because my cute Grandma had just gone through a five bypass open heart surgery. Quincy was very sick. She was wheezing really bad so I thought we will go home and on my way take her to her doctor in Logan. I got there and they said they couldn't see her until 2:30 and it was only 10:30. I had lots of time to kill... just me and the kids. I had some errands to run. I went to the bank. Colby threw thee biggest fit I have ever seen out of one of my kids. I was so embarrassed. All over a piece of candy. I told him if he didn't stop crying he couldn't have any. Well he sure didn't stop. He was climbing the counter trying to get the stupid candy. I thought I would just walk out and he would follow. Oh no! He stood there freaking out. A very nice guy helped me carry Quincy out while I physically carried by big, kicking screaming 5 year old. I finally get him out to the car. I go around the car the put Quincy in and what does Colby do??? He runs back into the bank. Oh my heck. I have never wanted to physically hurt one of my kids so bad. I know that sounds horrible but I seriously felt like I had no control. I have never felt like that. I go back and physically carry him out AGAIN. I'm sure my face was bright red. I was humiliated. I put the child lock on and threw him in the car yet again. I drove away. I called Andy and started bawling. I still had to go grocery shopping and go to the doctor with all four kids. I went to the store. No big fits there. Good news. Then I went to the doctor a little while later. I haven't had a period since I had Quincy. I usually don't have them when I am nursing. Of course... I start in the doctors office. It was all over me. All I had on was a paper towel. It took forever because they gave Quincy a breathing treatment and monitored her for a while. They finally sent me off to home health to pick up a nebulizer machine to do breathing treatments at home. I first had to stop at Smiths to go buy tampons. While I am down the isle, there is a lady there as well. It was just me and my kids and her. Well, she suddenly fell backwards right at my feet and started having a seizure. I drop to my knees and turn her on her side so she doesn't bite her tongue. I yelled for someone to call 911. After the seizure she was unconscious with her eyes open. She sounded like she was snoring. Weird. I waited until the paramedics came and explained to them what happened. Then I was on my way. I was extremely traumatized. As well, my kids watched the whole thing. I was nervous how they would react to it. After that I went to IHC Home Health. Of course there are 2 centers in Logan and I went to the wrong one. I then put all my kids back in the car and went to the other one. WHEW!! What a day. Soooo glad it is over
Chocolate Festival
My parents and Mandy and her family came up to stay at my house and go to the chocolate festival. I love when my family comes to visit. The boys love having a big sleepover with all the cousins. I didn't take too many pictures but I got a few.
The cousins watching a movie.
Paigey was so funny. She put her cupcake jammies on and wanted me to take a picture of her and her and her mom together in their matching jammies. Cute cute girl! We got lots of chocolate, ate at Coopers, and hung out at the house. The guys took all the kids sledding while we stayed home. My parents were going to stay until Monday because they had it off work. During the day Sunday we got the horrible news that my sweet Grandma had a massive heart attack. My parents immediately left to go be with her. BOO!!! Love my family. So glad we get to spend time together!
Silly Daddy
What happens when you leave Brayden Buggy and Daddy alone in a sporting goods store?
This. And no this little outfit is really not for sale. It is a demo of a bigger one for sale for big people. And yes it was taken right off the shelf and put on my son. :)

Quincy's first hair cut
I finally broke down and cut Quincy's hair.
It is very bald in the back...
And like 10 feet long on top.
It didn't take her long to go from this to... This. Andy says she must be a girl! Major mood swings! :)

Hotel in Logan
We stayed in Logan with Andy's mom, his brother Phil and his wife Natalie and their 4 kids. We had so much fun. The boys love playing with their cousins. Little trips like this are the best! We had a blast.
We hung out in the room and ate lots of treats and watched movies.
We swam a lot!!!!!! And loved every minute!
We went to the Cache Valley Fun Center and played arcade games, had pizza, and went bowling.
